Learning Objectives

• Understand the anatomy of the breast
• Understand the anatomy of the lungs and the differences between the left and right lobes
• Understand the primary branches of the bronchi
• Understand the pleura and how its anatomy contributes to respiration
• Understand the appearance of the chest wall, lungs, bronchi and pleura on a variety of imaging modalities

Assignments - Thorax: Chest Wall, Breast, Pleura, Lungs

1. "Chest" chapter in Radiologic AnatomyŠ computer program.
2. Take "On-line Quiz" on chest before October 28 (date of Unit II exam). You can take the online quiz up to five times. I will use your best score. (Note: you are encouraged to practice by using the "self evaluation" feature in the Radiologic Anatomy © program.)
