Falls & Fractures - Case Study

Mr. Collier's physical examination reveals a thin elderly man with a cast on his broken right forearm, blood pressure lying is 132/70, pulse is 78 regular, standing for three minutes his blood pressure and pulse fall to 112/58 and pulse of 88. He has bilateral cataracts with visual acuity of 20/40 in both eyes and his hearing is diminished.

His cardiorespiratory examination is normal except for the postural hypertension and his abdomen shows epigastric tenderness. His stool is hemocult positive.
