Vision Changes
- Frequently, the drops may need only be applied once or twice a day, and this can control the pressure at such a level that the optic nerve damage is totally arrested
- If, however, the drops are ineffective or not tolerated, then there is a laser surgery to the surface of the drain in the eye to help the fluid flow out of the eye which is, again, very effective in lowering the pressure
