Vision Changes
- In the macula there is the highest correspondence of photoreceptors and, as mentioned, it gives us our finest, sharpest 20/20 range vision
- When macular degeneration occurs, this close correspondence tends to break down, causing a decrease in sharpness or other changes to our central vision
