Vision Changes
- While the patient does not go totally blind with this disease, all reading- or driving-level vision is lost
- This, like many other diseases, is slowly progressive but, unlike glaucoma, has symptoms much earlier in its time course
- Usually the first symptom is a waviness of known straight lines such as a door jam, reading or street lines
