Vision Changes
- A second symptom is a blind spot that is at or near the exact object of regard, such as if you were looking at a letter on a page, the letters to the side or immediately above or below appear to fade out and only reappear in your side vision
- These symptoms are frequently the first sign of advancing macular degeneration, and the patient is urged strongly to seek an eye care professional
