Geri Ann is a framework for an interactive program designed to assist teachers and students of Geriatrics. Because Geriatrics is taught to different audiences, the program has built in flexibility to provide the teacher with the ability to change educational level; add or change teaching cases; add, delete or change topics; add, delete, or change medications from the Drug List; and add, delete, or change bibliographic references to keep the program current. Such flexibility is made possible by WWW and Newscape or Mosaic. Geri Ann provides a shell of two cases covering "THE FIVE I'S OF GERIATRICS" (Iatrogenic, Instability, Impaired Intellect, Impaired Homeostasis, and Incontinence) for the 2nd year medical student at the University of Florida.
