Official Email Distribution Lists
The College of Medicine maintains email distribution lists for each class of students. The primary purpose of these lists is to facilitate official communication with students by College of Medicine faculty and staff. We also encourage student-to-student use of these lists under the following conditions:
- Any message sent to these lists should be considered public information.
Do not send highly personal or confidential messages to these lists.
- Be careful with humor and sarcasm. If you think your message might be considered
offensive by some, then don't send it to the list.
- Do not use these lists as a means of private communication with other students.
Since these lists provide an official channel of communication, they are monitored
by the Office of Medical Education.
- Use proper etiquette when sending messages to these lists. All students
should familiarize themselves with the rules for email security and etiquette
available at http://medinfo.ufl.edu/omi/docs/students/email.html.
- Do not forward solicitations or announcements from outside the College of
Medicine, such as appeals for donations or chain letters, to these lists.
