Navigation Links

Navigation links appear at the extreme top and bottom of the page. They are not considered to be part of the document itself but help define the relationship between pages. For consistancy these links always appear in the same order from left to right: Home/Parent/Index/Previous/Next.

Home

This will normally be a link to an institutional home page or the top most level in a suite of pages. The home tags allow you to specify the text and URL for the home link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Home Page."

Parent

This will normally be a link to the next higher level in a hierarchy of pages. The parent tags allow you to specify the text and URL for the parent link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Parent Page." The text for the parent link for this page is "Table of Contents."

Index

This will normally be a link to the index for a suite of pages. The index tags allow you to specify the text and URL for the index link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Index Page." The text for the index link for this page is "View MTX File."

Previous

This will normally be a link to the previous page in a series of pages. The previous tags allow you to specify the text and URL for the previous link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Previous Page."

Next

This will normally be a link to the next page in a series of pages. The next tags allow you to specify the text and URL for the next link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Next Page."
