Navigation links appear at the extreme top and bottom of the page. They are not considered to be part of the document itself but help define the relationship between pages. For consistancy these links always appear in the same order from left to right: Home/Parent/Index/Previous/Next.
This will normally be a link to an institutional home page or the top most level in a suite of pages. The home tags allow you to specify the URL (%HOMEURL) and optional text (%HOME) for the home link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Home Page."

This will normally be a link to the next higher level in a hierarchy of pages. The parent tags allow you to specify the URL (%PARENTURL) and optional text (%PARENT) for the parent link. If no text is specified, the default will be "Parent Page." The text for the parent link for this page is "Table of Contents."
