Informed Consent
Waiving Informed Consent
This is only applicable to research not involving drugs or devices.
The conditions are as follows:
the research does not involve more than minimal risk to the subjects,
the waiver or modification of the informed consent does not adversely affect the rights and welfare of the subjects,
the research could not practically be carried out without the waiver or modification, and
whenever appropriate, the subjects will be provided with pertinent information after participation.
