A 9 year old boy is brought to the family practice clinic because of eye problems. Upon questioning, the child states that his eyes "bother" him. He says his throat "bothers" him as well. He has been coughing and there is slight adenopathy. Physical exam reveals watery discharge from his eyes. The eyes look irritated. He has been taking swimming lessons at the local YMCA.
