COURSE PREREQUISITES: None

COURSE GOALS:
1. Extensive, faculty supervised clinical experience with epidural and spinal blocks and airway management of the unconscious patient.
2. Participation in daily obstetrical anesthesia rounds.
3. Required to take call with an experienced resident and CRNA.
4. Required to give an oral presentation during the month long rotation.

COURSE MATERIALS: OB Anesthesia manual provided.

METHODS OF EVALUATION: Clinical observation.
MEETING PLACE AND TIME: Labor and Delivery, 3rd Floor, 7:00 A.M.

LENGTH: 4 weeks
ENROLLMENT LIMIT: 1 maximum
OFFERED: Every period
CREDIT OFFERED: 100% of 4 weeks = 4 credits
BASIC OR CLINICAL SCIENCE: Clinical
