Pericardial Effusion
- Dyspnea out of proportion to lung exam
- CXR normal, perhaps with cardiomegaly
- JVD, dec S1 S2, rubs, ascites, edema
- Occurs with cancer, trauma, TB, CTD
- Diagnose with echo; treat with pericardiocentesis
- May need to check pulsus paradoxus to get cardiology fellow out in the middle of night
