While I'm talking about sodium restriction, don't forget that sodium is a part of lots of over-the-counter remedies, even Fleet's Phospho-Soda, used two or three times a day, and of course that's not uncommon in the elderly patient. Or Fleet's Enemas, or things of that nature, can really blow a person's salt restriction.
