Of course there are common drug interactions that we teach about from day one in Pharmacy school and that's Warfarin and aspirin. Just about anyone knows that you shouldn't take Warfarin with aspirin, except there are occasions where a doctor may intentionally prescribe these two together.
But a lot of times we know we're not supposed to take Bayer aspirin with Coumadin, but aspirin is such a common ingredient, it's a hidden ingredient in many cases, so that we forget sometimes.
