I saw a patient who was being treated by his cardiologist. He was on Coumadin, well stabilized, and he developed a kidney stone. Went to the urologist, the urologist took a history, knew that he was on Coumadin, and avoided anything with aspirin, or at least he thought he did, but forgot and prescribed Darvon compound 65, which has 227 mg of aspirin in it.
