Then we run into common interactions that we tend to forget about, Maalox and Digoxin, for example. Concurrent administration of those two can result in a significant reduction in the absorption of Digoxin. And remember, Digoxin is an incredibly potent drug, 0.25 mg, and any interruption of its absorption can affect the patient's response to that particular medication.
