If we use a broad definition of drugs to include those things that we use in and on our bodies, by the time we leave for work or play in the morning we've exposed ourselves to what, six, eight, ten different drugs?
But yet we think we're so familiar with these compounds that they couldn't possibly cause us any harm.
So the focus of this session is going to be just a reminder, if you will, that the drugs that we take for granted sometimes can turn around and cause serious problems. Either those that as health professionals we prescribe or those that our patients take on their own.
