Normal Aging Changes to Memory -- Knowledge

Knowledge is the letter K in our cue word, LACK, for Learning, Attention, Cues, and Knowledge.

Knowledge about life can support memory and knowledge about aging can be devastating.

Let me explain: Cognitive research shows that we normally retain knowledge as we get older. We remember how to speak, we recall famous movie stars and important historical events, we don't forget how to drive a car, we remember the fundamental words of our language.

These are all types of knowledge that we store and retain for a lifetime.
