Fever and Infection in the Elderly -- Common Infections
There are several infections common to the elderly which I would like to discuss. These include:
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
- Pneumonia
- Pressure sores and skin infections
- Bacteremia
- Infective Endocardititis
- Infectious diarrhea
- Meningitis
