Loss of Loved Ones -- Enshrinement

This is a form of incomplete grief and can lead to "enshrinement," which can include, among other things, obsessively building memorials to the person who dies.

Illustrative here would be the person who insists on keeping in view the many objects that represent the deceased, or a parent who refuses to alter a daughter's room although she has been dead for years.
