"Not Going Home Again" -- Loss of Home

You know, Mrs. Thomas is not so unusual. People frequently come to a nursing home after only a few weeks of rehabilitation. Unless patients are progressing in physical therapy at a fairly rapid rate, Medicare will not pay for their therapy, so they have to be discharged.

Certainly at that point people are not willing to accept the fact that they are not recovering anymore function and actually it is not true that they will not recover anymore function.
