Is this Ebonics? I don't think so... My understanding of Ebonics is that it carries many phrases that are outside of the folk language idiom and is incorporated with the common slangs of the community where it is practiced. Hmmh...

I know you are tempted to ask the question that I hear all the time -- should Ebonics be taught? I am so sorry that you don't have the opportunity to ask me that question.
