The Health Science Center is fortunate to have been one of projects undertaken by the Samuel Proctor Oral History Center http://web.history.ufl.edu/oral/ Drs Proctor and Pleasants conducted a large number of interviews with many individuals who were involved in the Health Science Center from its very beginnings. The Health Center also has provided funds to continue this process, and there currently are more than 50 transcribed interviews, all of which preserve a rich history.
